Tomorrow is the day! We have our first day of teaching!
Everyone is somewhat nervous. Well, I’M nervous anyway. I only have 8 children
so far in my Kindergarten class but still it’s kind of intimidating. It’s a
half-day tomorrow so it doesn’t look like I have to teach my Computers class. This
morning consisted of getting ready for classes. I worked on my lesson plans and
worked of my classroom. I changed how I
had the desks. Instead of groups of 4, I decided to try putting them in
groups of 2 and in rows. We’ll see how it goes. If it doesn’t work out I can
always change it around. J
Today we went shopping for food, water, and got the mail. My mom sent me a
bunch of stuff for my classroom! So helpful! The back of the truck coming from
all the stores was really packed! It was pretty tight!
It was nice to have a somewhat chill day today before
everything gets hectic. I’ve been making things to put around my classroom. The
walls are little bare so I’ve been making decorations. I made a lot of fish and
shapes to put around. I’m going to put them up around the classroom tomorrow
morning. We all got together and prayed for our school year. We prayed that we
would all be good teachers and teach everyone about Jesus.
Nothing really exciting happened today but I’m sure a lot is
going to happen tomorrow! Please pray for me! I need all the prayer I can get
before I face the 5 and 6 year olds tomorrow! Hope you all have a great day!
